So I'm left absolutely shivering after showers and it's too cold to even shave. He says when my lease is up I can stay at his place for less than half of what I am paying now for rent at my place but I don't want to because of his bullshit and I am so uncomfortable - during the summers I'm dying and during the winters I'm shivering and it's so cold it's exhausting.
I like taking really hot showers but both of his showers don't even turn warm. I'm anemic, low blood pressure, hypoglycemic, low vit D, low everything (yes, I take multivitamins daily). During the winters, he doesn't touch the thermostat, so we're left shivering, or at least I am. Last summer, he was taking care of his relative's dog for a few months and the poor dog was dying because my boyfriend had like 1 fan for the entire house. The biggest issue is that he keeps the heating low during the cold winters in the Northeast US and doesn't turn on the A/C much during the blistering summers due to the cost. I've been with him for around 9-10 months. I WFH so I stay with my boyfriend a lot because I live with a few roommates so there is more space to cook, relax, etc. I'm not very good with money but trying to get better. He doesn't earn much money, but he is smart about his finances. I rent a place and my boyfriend owns a small house. I’ve been to multiple derms…most of which have never treated the condition since it’s pretty rare in the states. I cannot shave my head, plus, I’ve heard shaving the area sometimes doesn’t work and it can easily come back. I’m convinced I’m going to die with this infection. Has anyone had success with treating this fungal infection? I’ve taken terbinafine orally, daily shampoo/blow dry, organic tea tree oil, neutrogena tgel shampoo, apple cider vinegar, and prescription ketoconazole shampoo… and probably more.
